Diana, Princess of Wales by Mario Testino at Kensington Palace Mario Testino -- the man behind of Prince William and Kate Middletons' engagement pics -- had made the news for shooting the candid pictures of William's mother, Late Princess Diana for Vanity Fair in 1997.

The fashion photographer had said about the pictures of Diana, "[Diana] said to me at the time [that] her children had said to her it was the most 'her' they had seen."

Diana, Princess of Wales by Mario Testino was published in conjunction with the exhibition that took place at Kensington Palace in 2005. As well as exhibiting the iconic images that Mario Testino took of Princess Diana, five months before her tragic death, Mario Testino also designed the space at Kensington Palace, Princess Diana's home, where the exhibition was staged. Published by Taschen, 2005.
