Beautiful Princess Diana Photos by Mario Testino

Mario Testino -- the man behind of Prince William and Kate Middletons' engagement pics -- had made the news for shooting the candid pictures of William's mother, Late Princess Diana for Vanity Fair in 1997.

The fashion photographer had said about the pictures of Diana, "[Diana] said to me at the time [that] her children had said to her it was the most 'her' they had seen."

Diana, Princess of Wales by Mario Testino was published in conjunction with the exhibition that took place at Kensington Palace in 2005. As well as exhibiting the iconic images that Mario Testino took of Princess Diana, five months before her tragic death, Mario Testino also designed the space at Kensington Palace, Princess Diana's home, where the exhibition was staged. Prince William and Kate Middleton Official Engagement Photos

As I've promised in recently post talking about Mario Testino as the photographer behind Prince William and Kate Middleton's engagement, so let's see the pictures of them..

First picshot by Mario Testino shows the couple, dressed in jeans and casual tops, smiling in each others' arms. Both wear jeans, with Middleton sporting a blouse from mid-market retailer Whistles and William wearing a brown sweater over a white shirt from traditional tailors Turnbull and Asser.

Who's Photographer Behind William-Kate's Engagement Pics?

If for the royal couples' big day Prince William and Kate Middleton use Hugo Burnand as their photographer, they choose Mario Testino as the man behind their engagement pics.

Hugo Burnand is Charles and Camilla's favourite society photographer which has worked with the royal family for years, while Mario Testino is Lady Diana's close friend.

Testino has often photographed members of the royal family, taking portraits to mark Prince William's 21st birthday in 2003 and his younger brother Prince Harry's 20th birthday the next year. He also has photographed their father, Prince Charles, for Vogue magazine.
